Eric Liu, born in 2009, is an American chess prodigy who achieved the title of International Master (IM) in 2024. In April 2023, representing Wester Middle School in Frisco, Texas, he clinched the National Middle School (K-8) Championship with a perfect 7/7 score. As of January 2025, Liu’s FIDE standard rating is 2326, and his blitz rating is 2431.
