lenn Flear (born 1959) is an English chess Grandmaster who achieved his title in 1987. He won the London Chess Classic in 1986 and is also known for his contributions to chess literature, authoring several instructional books.
USA takes Gold, Silver, and Bronze at FIDE World Senior Team Chess Championships
USA federation chess players competed on five teams at the FIDE World Senior Team Chess Championships, held in Krakow, Poland, July 1–12. US Chess financially supported three of the USA teams.
