Andrew Tang (1999–) is an American chess Grandmaster, renowned for his exceptional speed chess skills, particularly in bullet, hyperbullet, and ultrabullet formats. He earned the Grandmaster title in 2018 and has been a prominent figure in online chess streaming, known by his handle “penguingm1.” Tang has achieved notable successes, including winning the 2023 U.S. Open and being inducted into theMinnesota Chess Hall of Fame in 2024.
