Emil Sutovsky

Emil Sutovsky is an Israeli chess player born in 1977. He earned the Grandmaster title from FIDE in 1996 and reached a classical rating of 2602.

He has a long history in chess administration. From 2012 to 2019, he served as the president of the Association of Chess Professionals. He also worked as the FIDE Director-General before becoming the FIDE CEO in 2022.
