Evgeny Bareev is a Russian-Canadian grandmaster, trainer and writer born in 1966. He earned his GM title in 1989. Twice in his career, he reached a world ranking of fourth.
This happened first in 1992 and again in 2003. He hit a peak Elo rating of 2739. He currently plays under the Canadian federation.
Judit Polgar (1976-) is a Hungarian chess Grandmaster, generally considered the strongest female chess player of all time.
